Title: Call for SOA Presentations for The Open Group Conference in Hong Kong
Version: 1
Description:

The Open Group will hold its 2009 Q4 conference in Hong Kong, in the week of 19 October. This is an opportunity for member companies to show themselves to advantage by presenting at a prestigious event in potentially the largest, and one of the most rapidly growing, markets for SOA.

The conference will include an SOA stream. We are looking for presentations for that stream on the following topics.

  • The Global State of SOA Today
  • Assessing your SOA Maturity
  • SOA Case Studies

We are also planning to present tutorial sessions, using material developed by the Work Group, on:

  • Using TOGAF for SOA
  • The SOA Reference Architecture
  • SOA Governance

If you would like to give a presentation or tutorial, please send e-mail to Chris Harding.

While there has been some discussion of the idea of remote presentations, we will not be able to bring to bear sufficiently mature technology (interactive video, etc.) for this idea to be viable for Hong Kong. Please note therefore that these presentations and tutorials are to be given in person at the Hong Kong event.
