Infosys Technologies and The Open Group present a webinar on Enterprise Architecture trends

Infosys believes that the role of Enterprise Architecture (EA) is set to undergo a transformation. Findings from Infosys' Enterprise Architecture Survey 2007 corroborate that:

36% of EA teams actively participate in Strategic Business Planning
19% of all architecture teams spend most of their time on Business Architecture

The survey covered various achievements in EA to understand how it is positioned today and to study the future direction of EA. The survey yielded 262 responses from CIOs and Chief Architects.

Companies use EA to align IT with business. In its next stage of evolution, Infosys believes, EA will morph into a tool to implement business strategy. EA will break out of its IT management role to collaboratively create value with business partners and customers.
