Getting into Objects
This document considers the relevance of object-oriented technologies to open systems. It gives an overview of the key features of object-oriented technologies and the benefits which, it is claimed, arise from their use. It also looks at current and future exploitation of object-oriented technologies in the open systems arena, drawing on the information obtained from a series of interviews conducted with representatives of a number of Open Group member companies.
